We are Muslims.
We are Christians.
We are Jews.
We represent a variety of faith traditions …
… and cultural backgrounds.
We have many different beliefs.
But we are united on some very important issues.
We have a shared commitment to human dignity.
We believe in the ways of peace.
We seek to advance justice and the common good of all our neighbors.
One way we do this is by engaging in the public square.
This includes exercising our right to vote.
We encourage you to study the candidates and issues …
… to engage others with charity and compassion …
… and to make your voice heard by casting your ballot.
We join you as members of the Greater St. Cloud Faith Leaders group in this civic responsibility …
… with the hope that, all working together, we can change the tone of our political discourse.
That, as people of faith, regardless of what tradition, we can help to build stronger, more unified communities …
… and be models of civility, peace and love to everyone we encounter during this election time and beyond.
